Testing with color decks on a Mac II has shown that Canfield requires a 384K memory space under Multifinder. On monochrome systems, less memory may be used.
Enhancements
A new submenu has been added to the Options menu to enable different visual effects when dragging cards. Previously, cards being dragged were shown only as grey outlines. The Animation submenu now offers the choice of Full and Ghost animation in addition to Outline. In Full animation (memory permitting), the complete image of the card(s) being dragged is actually dragged around the screen. In Ghost animation, an interesting visual effect is used instead.
A new selection will be added to the Red Suits and Card Backs menus on Macintoshes with color capability. “Other…” displays the Macintosh Color Wheel with the current color selected. You can then pick your own color.
The Scores window now has a close box so it can be hidden without hiding the current score in the Game window. If the Scores window is closed, choosing New Game ends the current game and starts a new game immediately. To show the Scores window again, choose Show Score on the Options Menu.
UNDO can now be used to return to the last card in the deck after the deck has been turned over with the Replay button.
